
Afanasyev Signs Entry-Level Deal with Predators

(Windsor, ON) - Egor Afanasyev has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Nashville Predators.
Afanasyev was selected by the Predators in the second round (45th overall) of the 2019 NHL Draft.
The 18-year-old from Tver, Russia was acquired by the Spitfires in the trade that sent Mikey DiPietro to the Ottawa 67s back in December, 2018.
Afanasyev ranks second on the club with 12 points (5G, 7A) in 11 games.
