
Aeros Take Three of Four from BaySox

AKRON--The bats were out on both sides of the diamond as the Aeros came out victorious winning 8-7 against Bowie. Brian Barton, Argenis Reyes and Wyatt Toregas all hit homeruns in the game.
Barton hit a two-run shot in the first to begin the scoring and it continued the rest of the game. Reyes had a homer in the third inning and Toregas followed in the fourth with another two-run homer. Asdrubal Cabrera and Michael Aubrey also contributed in the scoring. Cabrera drove in two while Aubrey had one RBI. Bowie's bats were also hot as Oscar Salazar joined in with a home run of his own.
Chuck Lofgren (7-5) started the game and pitched six innings giving up six earned runs on eight hits. The Baysox's starter, Radhames Liz, was ejected in the bottom of the third after coming very close to hitting Barton, who homered off of the pitcher in his first at-bat. Liz pitched 2.2 innings giving up three earned runs on two hits and striking out five.
The Aeros will begin a 12-game road trip against Binghamton with a double header tomorrow at 5:35 p.m. Jake Dittler will start the first game against Bobby Parnell and Joe Ness will take the mound for the second game against Salvador Aguilar.
