The SeaWolves are a season-high seven games over .500 as they take the field tonight in the final game of a four-get set against the Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees). The SeaWolves have won two straight and are looking to win the series against Trenton. Last night's victory gave the âWolves at least a series tie with Trenton, meaning that Erie has still only lost one series at home which was against New Hampshire (June 8-10) en route to the best home record in the Southern Division...The âWolves are at the 40-win mark in 2007. Last season, the 'Wolves did not win their 40th game until July 17 in game two of a doubleheader against Bowie. Erie's record at the time was 40-53...Rightie Andrew Kown takes the mound making his second start of the homestand for the âWolves. Kown took a loss in his last outing in game one of Wednesday's doubleheader against Altoona. He went six innings allowing four runs, three earned, on five hits...RHP Alan Horne takes the mound toni ght for Trenton. Horne is second in the league with 92 strikeouts. Only Portland's Clay Buchholz with 100 has more. Horne is coming off of back-to-back wins, the most recent against Akron. In that game, Horne went six innings allowing a run on five hits. He walked one and struck out four. It's his 15th start of the season for the Thunder.
