
Curve Set To Open Eight-Game Homestand On Tuesday

ALTOONA- The Curve will open an eight-game homestand on Tuesday night at 7:05 PM against the Trenton Thunder. The Thunder, who are making their lone trip to Blair County Ballpark in 2007, will be in for a four-game series (June 26-29). The homestand will conclude with a four-game series against the Bowie Baysox (June 30-July 3).
The homestand will feature an extremely busy promotional schedule highlighted by three fireworks shows. Despite the Curve being on the road for Independence Day, the team will celebrate the 4th of July with fireworks shows on June 30th, July 1st and July 3rd.
Tuesday's series opener with Trenton is scheduled for a 7:05 PM start and features the Curve Softball Giveaway to the first 2,000 fans of all ages. Thursday night's game is also at 7:05 PM start as the Curve present a T-Shirt Giveaway to the first 2,000 fans of all ages. Also on Thursday, gates will open early at 5 PM for Curve Happy Hour on the Toyota Party Deck.
The Curve Idol Series presented by the New AT&T continues on Wednesday as Kevin Covais from the popular Fox television show American Idol will make an appearance at BCB. Another popular entertainment act will entertain fans on Friday night as BirdZerk performs throughout the series finale with Trenton.
On Tuesday, July 2nd, a fan favorite returns to BCB as the Curve present Irish Pat's Used Car Giveaway. The team will randomly select winners of used cars from the fans in attendance throughout the ballgame with Bowie.
