Businesses & non-profit groups interested in participating in the Environmental Awareness Fair at Waterfront Park should contact Paula Aldarelli at (609) 989-1160 for details.

Earth Share of New Jersey (ESNJ) was founded in 1994 by 16 of the states leading NJ based environmental groups. Originally known as the Environmental Fund for New Jersey, the organization was formed to enable members to participate in workplace- giving programs for unrestricted funds. Since then, ESNJ has grown to represent 23 local and 38 national environmental organizations, and has become part of a federation of national and international environmental groups.

The Trenton Thunder have made a commitment to use their place in the public eye to raise awareness for environmental issues while also pursuing ways the organization can have less of a negative impact on the environment. This year, the Thunder held the first ever "Thunder Clean Water Pledge" program done in conjunction with the NJ Department of Environmental Protection. This initiative rewarded students for "pledging" to live in a more environmentally sound way. The team has also increased recycling efforts in the ballpark and began using more energy efficient lighting throughout the stadium.

Tickets to Trenton Thunder games and more information regarding the Environmental Awareness Fair are available by calling 609-394-3300 or online at www.trentonthunder.com.
