Aeros sign RW Ross Carlson to PTO

HOUSTON, Texas - Houston Aeros' General Manager Tom Lynn today announced today that right wing Ross Carlson has signed a PTO to join the American Hockey League (AHL) club.

Carlson, 26 (2/21/82), played in 49 games this season with the Texas Wildcatters of the ECHL, recording 38 points (18-20=38) and 36 penalty minutes. He also played three games for AHL Rockford and recorded one goal. The Duluth, Minn., native played in four AHL games with Providence last season tallying one assist. Prior to joining Providence, Carlson played four seasons with the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

The Aeros will host the Rockford IceHogs Saturday night at 7:35 p.m. Fans, don't forget, the Hanson Brothers of the acclaimed 1977 classic hockey movie Slap Shot will be at the game.
