Aeros Rained Out

AKRON, OH - Tuesday's Eastern League contest between the Aeros and the Altoona Curve was rained out, and the teams will make up the game as part of a doubleheader on Friday, April 24th starting at 6:05 p.m. Fans with tickets to Tuesday's game may exchange them for any remaining 2009 regular-season home game, subject to availability. The exchanges must be made at either the Aeros Box Office or at Infield Outfitters, the official team store of the Aeros located at Canal Park.

The finale of this abbreviated series is set for 10:35 a.m. Wednesday on the first Aeros Education Day of 2009. The scheduled starters will remain in place, with Akron's Hector Rondon (1-0, 1.59 ERA) taking on Curve southpaw Tony Watson (0-0, 12.27 ERA). All tickets are just $6 as part of Aeros Welcome Home Week. The game broadcast begins at 10:20 a.m. on SportsRadio 1350 AM and online at www.akronaeros.com.
