R-Phils and B-Mets postponed on April 14

Reading Fightin Phils News Release


Reading, PA - The Eastern League game between the Reading Phillies and Binghamton Mets scheduled to be played at 6:35 PM at FirstEnergy Stadium on Tuesday, April 14 has been postponed due to rain.

The game will be made up as part of a double-header on Saturday, August 15. The first game of the twin bill will begin at 6:05 PM.

Anyone with regularly purchased tickets dated for the April 14 rain out may exchange those tickets for tickets of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2009 Reading Phillies regular season home game, based on availability.

Reading and Binghamton's game at FirstEnergy Stadium, scheduled for Wednesday, April 15 at 6:35 PM, is on. RHP Tyson Brummett (0-0, 3.00) will make his second start of the season for Reading. RHP Fernando Nieve will make his season debut for the Mets.
