Admirals Wives to Collect Money for Tsunami Victims

The Milwaukee Admirals announced today that the players and coaches wives will hold a raffle at both this Friday and Saturday's Admirals games to raise money for the victims of the Tsunami in Asia.

The wives will sell the tickets before both games, during the first intermission of both games, and in the second intermission of the first game. Prices for the tickets will be $5 each, 3 for $10, or 10 for $20. The Grand Prize will be an "Ultimate Admirals Experience," which will include a full day of Admirals activities and a chance to meet all of the players. Other prizes included in the raffle will be dinner with two Admiral players, game worn Admiral jerseys, and much more.

The Grand Prize winner will be announced during the second intermission of Saturday's game. All other winners will be notified via phone during the week of January 10. Contestant do not need to be present to win.

This weekend's games will feature the Admirals, the 2004 Calder Cup Champions, versus the previous two AHL title winners. On Friday, Milwaukee will play host to Chicago, who won the Cup in 2002, at 7 pm, and on Saturday they will take on the 2003 Champs, the Houston Aeros, in a 1:30 pm matinee.
