Lock Monsters Host Guns N Hoses Event on January 9th

Lowell, MA ... The Lowell Lock Monsters, in partnership with Trinity Ambulance, will host a "Guns N Hoses" event at the Tsongas Arena during their match up with the Providence Bruins on January 9th. Game time is slated for 4:00 pm. The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative puck , courtesy of Trinity Ambulance.
Local police departments helped raise over $1,000 through ticket sale donations, for the Massachusetts Concerns of Police Survivors, an organization which offers support to families of fallen officers in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. Local fire departments have raised money through ticket sale donations for the Lowell Fire Safety Education Program.
The afternoon matinee will feature a pre-game between the Chelmsford Police and Fire Departments and the Salem (MA) Police and Fire Departments, as well an intermission game between the Boston Fire Department and the Tewksbury Fire Department. The Lowell Fire Department will be on hand with fire prevention displays and information.
In addition, the Lock Monsters and the Lowell Fire Department will conduct a "Boot Fundraiser" during the game to raise money for the American Red Cross local disaster relief services. The Merrimack Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross responds to over 200 disasters a year serving approximately 500 people a year who are victims of primarily fire and floods.
