
Admirals to Honor Keith Tozer April 18

Milwaukee, WI-- The Admirals will honor legendary Milwaukee Wave Head Coach Keith Tozer before the Ads game Friday April 18th against the Charlotte Checkers at 7 pm at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Tozer will drop the ceremonial first puck prior to the game, in addition to other activities throughout the night.
"We are thrilled to have Keith join us for our game on April 18th," said Admirals President Jon Greenberg. "The success he has had over the past two decades transcends soccer and has made him a true legend in Milwaukee sports history."
Over 22 seasons as the Wave head coach Tozer won the National Professional Soccer League title three times with the first one coming in 1998. When the league became the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) in 2001 the Wave continued their winning ways and won the MISL championship in 2005, 2011 and 2012.
Tozer also succeeded at an international level. He led the U.S. Futsal team to the 2004 CONCACAF championship. Tozer is considered one of the most successful coaches in U.S. soccer history and the winningest coach in North American indoor soccer with more than 700 wins. He has a total of six league championships and won the Coach of the Year award eight times.
