Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee Admirals' Executive Vice President/General Manager Phil Wittliff announced today that playoff tickets for the first two American Hockey League games in team history will go on sale at 9am, Monday April 7th. The Admirals will play all three games of a best-of-three AHL Playoff Qualifying Series against the Rochester Americans at the Bradley Center. By league rule, the price of the tickets will increase by one dollar over the regular season price and cost $13.
The series opens with Game A to be played at 7:12pm Thursday. The two teams play in Game B on Saturday and if necessary, they'll meet again in Game C on Sunday. Only tickets for the first two games of the series will be on sale. Tickets for Game C, if necessary, will go on sale immediately after the game Saturday night.
Fans can also purchase an 11-game playoff pack through the Admirals' ticket office by calling 414-227-0550. The Admirals also have group discounts on tickets for the playoffs.
The two teams split their two game season series with each team winning on their home ice. Rochester triumphed 7-3 in Rochester, New York on November 29th and the Admirals were 5-2 winners March 22nd at the Bradley Center. The Admirals are seeded seventh out of ten teams in the Western Conference and would play the Houston Aeros in a best-of-five series in the next round if they get past the Americans.
The Admirals finished the season with a 32-27-14-7 record while Rochester was 31-30-14-5. The two teams combined to play 49 overtime games during the course of the regular season as the Admirals led the league with 25 OT affairs and the Americans played in 24 extra sessions.
