Milwaukee Admirals News Release

Milwaukee, WI-Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled goaltender Karl Goehring from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League and reassigned defenseman Kevin Klein to Milwaukee. In addition, the Admirals have recalled goaltender Frederic Cloutier from the Rockford IceHogs of the United Hockey League.

Goehring has appeared in eight games for the Admirals this season, posting a record of 3-4-0 with a 3.60 goals-against average. The AHL veteran signed as a free agent with Nashville on July 17, 2006 after splitting last season between Jokerit Helsinki (Finland) and San Antonio of the AHL. A standout at North Dakota (WCHA) from 1997-2001, the Apple Valley, Minn. native went on to play for Syracuse (AHL), where he registered at least 17 wins in three of four seasons (2001-05) with the Crunch.

Klein played in one game for the Predators, blocking a team-high five shots in Nashville's 3-1 win over Columbus on Monday. He has two goals and 21 penalty minutes in 12 games with Milwaukee this season. The Kitchener, Ont. native led Admirals' defensemen in scoring (10g-33a-43pt) and ranked 13th among AHL backliners in points last season. Klein was originally Nashville's third choice, 37th overall (second round), in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

Cloutier has appeared in 11 games with Rockford this season, posting a 7-4 record with a 2.84 goals against average and a .909 save percentage.

The Admirals are back in action tonight when they take on the Manitoba Moose in Winnipeg in the second game of a ten-game road trip. The team's next home game will be on Wednesday, December 13th at 7:00 pm versus the Grand Rapids Griffins.
