Milwaukee's Wednesday night showdown with Peoria will mark the second to last meeting of the season between the Admirals and Rivermen. Milwaukee got off to fast start in the 12-game season series by winning the first five matchups. However, Peoria returned the favor by taking the last five contests, including a 4-2 decision in the most recent confrontation on Feb. 12 at the Bradley Center. Rivermen forward Brett Sterling scored a pair of goals in the second period, including the game winner on a power play at 16:42. Goaltender Ben Bishop, who was recently traded to the Ottawa Senators, made 26 saves to earn the victory for Peoria, while Admirals netminder Atte Engren (Rauma, Finland) stopped 11 of 14 Rivermen shots to take the loss. Milwaukee and Peoria will complete the season series on Saturday, March 24 at Carver Arena.

The Admirals' Friday night contest with the Ice Hogs represents the seventh of 12 meetings of the season between the border rivals. Rockford claimed victories previous three matchups, all at the BMO Harris Bank Center, including a 2-1 shootout decision this past Saturday night. Ice Hogs goaltender Carter Hutton stopped 23 of 24 shots during the game and all three Milwaukee Milwaukee shooters during the shootout to earn the win. Engren made 35 saves during regulation and overtime, but allowed goals to Brandon Pirri, Rostislav Olesz and Andrew Shaw in the shootout. Milwaukee, did however, win both of the previous games at the Bradley Center, picking up a 7-3 victory on Dec. 26 and a 5-4 shootout victory on Dec. 11.

Saturday night the Admirals will host Chicago for the first time since January 27, when the Wolves earned a 2-1 victory at the Bradley Center in front of a sellout crowd of 17,386 fans. Chicago forward Mark Mancari scored the game winning goal at 17:16 of the first period on a power play, while goaltender Matt Climie stopped 30 of 31 shots to earn the victory. Admirals goaltender Jeremy Smith made 17 saves in the loss, while forward Ryan Thang (Edina, Minnesota) contributed Milwaukee's only goal in the third period. Chicago owns a 28-17-2-2 record against the Admirals over the past five years, and has won five of the previous nine meetings this season.
