Syracuse Crunch News Release
Right wing Kyle Palmieri has seemingly been among the top goal scorers in the league all season long. He finished the weekend ranked first in the AHL with 31 goals. On Sunday, Palmieri cracked the century mark, recording his 100th AHL point in the Crunch's 4-3 loss to Adirondack. The right wing reached that mark when he scored on a penalty shot at the 18:20 mark of the second period. In 99 games with the Crunch, Palmieri has 60 goals and 40 assists.
MAROON REACHES 30 ASSISTS: Left wing Patrick Maroon continues to put up assists, collecting 30 in a season for the third time in his professional career. He's been among the team's assist leaders for most of the season. It's the first time since the 2009-10 regular season that he's reached that mark. Maroon, who already set a career high in goals this season, has 55 points (25g, 30a). He leads the team in both assists and points.
