Wolves Trade Longpre to Springfield

The Chicago Wolves have traded forward NATHAN LONGPRE to the American Hockey League's Springfield Falcons in exchange for future considerations.

LONGPRE paced Wolves rookies with 8 goals and ranked second among team first-year pros with 18 points in 39 games this season.

The 23-year-old forward set a career-high and led the team with 42 points (14G, 28A) in 33 games as a senior with Robert Morris University (AHA) last year. The Peterborough, Ontario, native also made his professional debut in eight games with the Worcester Sharks, posting one assist and four penalty minutes.
