Milwaukee Admirals News Release

Oklahoma City, OK--Mark Arcobello scored the game-winner at 3:18 of overtime to lift the Oklahoma City Barons to a 2-1 victory over the Milwaukee Admirals Friday at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.

The Admirals lost despite putting 43 shots on goal. Admirals netminder Jeremy Smith turned aside 23 of 25 from the Barons.

Former University of Wisconsin standout Justin Schultz fed a pass from the left point to the right circle. Martin Marincin swept the puck back to Arcobello at the left post for the game-winner.

Milwaukee's Austin Watson started the scoring with his fourth goal of the season at 1:05 of the second period. Admirals forward Gabriel Bourque, who missed the previous ten games with an injury, held the zone at the right point and fed a wide-open Watson at the goal mouth. Watson lifted a backhander into the net to extend his points streak to four games.

The Barons tied the score with a slapshot by Taylor Fedun at 12:29 of the second period.

Admirals forward Taylor Beck was carted off the ice on a stretcher after a hit at 16:29 of the third, however, he was coherent and moving after the game.

The Admirals play the third game of a season long seven-game road trip Saturday night in Oklahoma City. The Ads aren't home again until they host Chicago on Friday, November 30.
