The Los Angeles Dodgers have announced that left-handed pitcher James Adkins has been activated on the Loons' roster. He will also start tonight's contest against the Burlington Bees.
Adkins will be followed in the game by scheduled starter Steven Johnson.
Adkins was drafted by the Dodgers with the 36th overall pick in the 2007 amateur draft out of the University of Tennessee.
To make room on the roster, right-hander Matt Gomez de Segura was placed on the disabled list with a strained right shoulder.
