LAST WEEK: Adirondack went 1-1-1 last week, and is 37-19-5 overall on the season for 79 points. The Frostbite are in second place of the Eastern Division, 10 points behind first-place Danbury with four games in hand.

Wednesday, March 15 vs. Roanoke FROSTBITE 2 Vipers 0
Derek Gustafson turned aside all 10 shots he faced to record his second shutout of the season as the Frostbite wrapped up their four-game home stand with a 2-0 win over Roanoke. Greg Koehler opened the scoring with a power-play goal 16:11 into the first period. The game remained 1-0 until late in the third when Ryan Bennett provided some breathing room with his 18th of the season at the 16:19 mark.

Friday, March 17 @ Motor City Mechanics 3 FROSTBITE 2 (SO)
Adirondack opened its four-game road trip with a 3-2 shootout loss at Motor City. The Frostbite got on the scoreboard first as Bob Rapoza tallied a power-play goal just 28 seconds into the second period. The Mechanics pulled even on a power-play goal of their own at 13:56. Mark Hurtubise put the Frostbite back on top early in the third period, but Motor City's power play again tied the game with just 5:25 remaining in the third period. In the shootout, the Mechanics scored on two of four opportunities, while the Frostbite failed to score on any of their four shots.

Saturday, March 18 @ Rockford IceHogs 6 FROSTBITE 4
A shorthanded goal from Greg Koehler and an even-strength tally from Dmitri Suur got the Frostbite off to a quick start, and a 2-0 lead through 20 minutes. But, the IceHogs roared back, scoring three times in the second period and twice early in the third to take a 5-2 lead. Mark Hurtubise pulled the Frostbite back to within two at 15:05, only to see Rockford answer just 2:30 later. Pete Ollari set the final with his second goal of the season at 18:04.

THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Friday, March 24 @ Elmira 7:05 p.m.
The Frostbite and Jackals meet for the 12th of 15 times this season on Friday at First Arena. Adirondack is 8-2-1 overall against Elmira this season, and is 4-1-0 in Elmira. The Jackals are 23-34-7 for 53 points, and are in fourth place of the Eastern Division. Elmira's nine home wins are the fewest in the UHL.

Saturday, March 25 @ Richmond 7:35 p.m.
Adirondack makes its first trip to Richmond since December 1, as they take on the RiverDogs for the 11th of 14 times this season. The Frostbite are 10-0-0 overall against the RiverDogs, and 4-0-0 at the Richmond Coliseum. Richmond is 30-25-6 for 66 points and is in third place of the Eastern Division. The RiverDogs trail Quad City by three points for the final playoff spot in the league.

Sunday, March 26 vs. Richmond 5:15 p.m.
The Frostbite and RiverDogs meet in the back end of their home-and-home series. This is the final meeting in Glens Falls between the two teams this season.

PROMOTIONS: The final Family Four Pack Night of the season. Fans can purchase four tickets, four slices of pizza, and four sodas for just $50. Following the game, fans can join the Frostbite players at Hot Shots for a post-game party.

FROSTBITE NOTES

- Ryan Bennett enters the week on a nine-game point scoring streak. Bennett has five goals and six assists during his streak. His streak is the Frostbite's second-longest scoring streak this season: Hugo Belanger scored at least one point in each of the first 10 games this season.

- Derek Gustafson had a shutout streak of 137:59 come to an end during Saturday's loss in Rockford.
- The Frostbite have held 12 straight opponents to 30 or fewer shots on goal.
- David Moccia had the Frostbite's first penalty shot of the season in Friday's shootout loss to Motor City. Moccia's attempt was stopped by Mechanics' goaltender Rod Branch.

FROSTBITE ON THE AIR
All 76 Frostbite regular season games can be heard on WCKM 98.5 FM and on-line at www.frostbitehockey.com with the Voice of the Frostbite, Joe Babik. Each broadcast begins 20 minutes prior to face-off with the Frostbite Pre-Game Show. In addition, all Frostbite games are available to watch on a pay-per-view basis in conjunction with B2 Networks. The B2 Networks feed can be accessed through the Frostbite website at www.frostbitehockey.com. Every Monday during the season, WCKM airs the "In the Box" Show from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The show is hosted by WCKM morning personality, and Frostbite PA announcer, Dan Miner. Dan is joined on the show each week by Frostbite Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Dane Jackson, Frostbite Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations Joe Babik, and a different Frostbite player.
