D'Alessandro wins Weekly Award

RICHMOND, VA - The Richmond RiverDogs, proud members of the United Hockey League, announce that Mike D'Alessandro has been named Southern Pro Sports UHL Goaltender of the Week for the period ending March 19th. Mike went 2-0-1 with a goals against average of 2.00 and a save percentage of .947 which also includes a 48 save performance in the RiverDogs 3-2 shootout loss to Fort Wayne. D'Alessandro is currently tied for second amongst all UHL goaltenders with a save percentage of .919. This is the second award won by the Richmond netminder this season.

It is "Home-Sweet-Home" for the RiverDogs as the team returns home for three big contests beginning on Wednesday, March 22nd with the Roanoke Valley Vipers at 7:05 pm. The two teams meet again on Friday, March 24th, with face-off set for 7:35 pm. The Adirondack Frostbite will conclude the homestand on Saturday March 25th at 7:35 pm. Both teams travel back to Glen Falls, NY for a 4:05 pm contest on Sunday, March 26th. When the RiverDogs play Adirondack on Saturday, it will also be PACK THE POUND NIGHT! Fans can buy tickets in the Upper Bowl for only $6.00. This special ticket price can only be purchased at the Richmond Coliseum Box Office during normal business hours or on the day of the game.
