LAST WEEK: Adirondack went 3-2-0 during its busiest week of the season, and is now 21-10-1 on the season for 43 points. The Frostbite are in second place of the Eastern Division, one point behind Danbury.

Tuesday, December 27 vs. Motor City Mechanics 4 FROSTBITE 1
Motor City got on the scoreboard first as Tom Kotsopoulos tallied at the 10:05 mark of the opening period. Hugo Belanger tied the game with his 14th of the season at 13:12. After a scoreless second period, the Mechanics went ahead for good at 2:50 of the third on a Kris Vernarsky tally. Peter Szabo added a pair of goals in the final three and a half minutes to set the final.

Wednesday, December 28 vs. Motor City FROSTBITE 4 Mechanics 2
Adirondack raced out to a 2-0 lead after one period, and then took a 3-0 lead on a Sylvain Cloutier power-play goal 4:37 into the second period. The Mechanics pulled back within one, scoring a pair of goals just 33 seconds apart midway through the second period. Hugo Belanger provided some breathing room, scoring a power-play goal 10:14 into the third period to provide the final margin of victory.

Friday, December 30 @ Elmira FROSTBITE 5 Jackals 4
The teams traded goals in the first period, as the game was tied at 3 after 20 minutes. Kevin Watters and Mark Hurtubise scored in the second period to give the Frostbite a 5-3 lead. Jarrett Konkle pulled the Jackals within one with 2:34 left, but Derek Gustafson shut the door the rest of the way to preserve the win.

Saturday, December 31 vs. Elmira FROSTBITE 3 Jackals 2 (SO)
After a scoreless first period, Elmira opened the scoring 2:49 into the second on a Josh Tataryn tally. Adirondack tied the game two minutes later on a Mike Berry power-play tally. Jason Sessa restored the Jackals' lead just 48 seconds later, but Berry struck again, tying the game at 14:06. Neither team scored in the final period, setting the stage for the shootout. Berry and Mark Hurtubise tallied in the extra session for the Frostbite, while Derek Gustafson turned aside four of Elmira's five shots to record the win.

Sunday, January 1 @ Danbury Trashers 4 FROSTBITE 3
Adirondack fell to 0-5-1 against Danbury this season, suffering a heart-breaking 4-3 loss. The Frostbite held a 3-1 lead late in second period on a pair of Sylvain Cloutier goals and a single tally from Kevin Watters. Danbury pulled within one in the final minute of the period on a Dave MacIsaac power-play goal, and Jean-Michel Daoust tied the game 4:06 into the third. Daoust scored the game-winner with just 37.6 seconds left in regulation.

THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Friday, January 6 vs. Elmira 7:35 p.m.
The Frostbite host the Jackals in the front end of a home-and-home series. Adirondack is 4-0-0 against Elmira this season, and 3-0-0 at home. The Jackals are 8-19-5 on the season for 21 points and are in fifth place of the Eastern Division.

Saturday, January 7 @ Elmira 7:05 p.m.
Adirondack heads to First Arena for the second time in two weeks after its 5-4 win over the Jackals last Friday.

Sunday, January 8 vs. Muskegon 5:15 p.m.
The Frostbite host the Fury for the only time this season. Muskegon is 22-5-2 for 46 points and is in second place of the Central Division. The Fury own the league's best road record, with a mark of 11-2-1.

FROSTBITE ON THE AIR
All 76 Frostbite regular season games can be heard on WCKM 98.5 FM and on-line at www.frostbitehockey.com with the Voice of the Frostbite, Joe Babik. Each broadcast begins 20 minutes prior to face-off with the Frostbite Pre-Game Show. In addition, all Frostbite games are available to watch on a pay-per-view basis in conjunction with B2 Networks. The B2 Networks feed can be accessed through the Frostbite website at www.frostbitehockey.com. Every Monday during the season, WCKM airs the "In the Box" Show from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Davidson's. The show is hosted by WCKM morning personality, and Frostbite PA announcer, Dan Miner. Dan is joined on the show each week by Frostbite Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Marc Potvin, Frostbite Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations Joe Babik, and a different Frostbite player. This week's show will feature a phone interview with UHL Commissioner Richard Brosal.
