Flint Generals News Release
The Flint Generals are home for a pair of games before departing for 10 days while the Shrine Circus comes to town. This Friday, January 6th it's the GENERALS hosting the MISSOURI RIVER OTTERS at 7:35pm with the return of Jim Duhart to Perani Arena. Then on Saturday night January 7th the GENERALS take on the DANBURY TRASHERS at 7:35pm. The Generals will be looking to extend on their current two game winning streak after defeating Quad City last Thursday and Port Huron last Saturday night.

JIM DUHART RETURNS TO FLINT
Friday night will mark the return of Jim Duhart to Perani Arena.
Duhart, 34, played five seasons with the Flint Generals from 2000-2005, scoring 211 goals and 175 assists in 321 games. Duhart ranks first all-time among UHL players with 792 games played and in 11 games this season has 7 goals and 10 assists for the River Otters. The River Otters play in Port Huron on Wednesday before heading over to flint for Friday night's game. Duhart has scored a point in all eleven games that he has played with the River Otters. The longest point streak in Missouri team history is 14 games, set by Jeremy Rebek during the 1999-2000 season.
SATURDAY, JANUARY 7, 2006 @ 7:35pm
The Danbury Trashers come to Flint for the last time this season on Saturday night. Flint lost 4-3 in a shootout to Danbury back on October 22 at Perani Arena. Danbury leads the Eastern Division with a 20-7-5 record as of Monday, January 2, 2006. The Trashers will face Kalamazoo on Wednesday and Motor City on Friday before coming to Flint on Saturday night.
KEEPING THE REFS BUSY - As of today the Trashers lead the league in the following categories:

10-Minute Misconducts with 18
And Match Penalties with 2
FLINT PENALTY KILLING REMAINS STELLAR
The Generals remain first in the UHL in road penalty killing (91.3%) allowing only 9 goals in 104 shorthanded situations. The Generals are second in the UHL in overall penalty killing (87.5%).
FLINT 3-0 AGAINST MISSOURI
The Flint Generals have defeated the Missouri River Otters all three times the teams have met this year.
