Sugar Land, TX - Kyle Lewis continued his historic power pace with another galactic launch in a 7-2 Reno Aces (26-22, 70-53) win over the Sugar Land Space Cowboys (15-33, 48-75) Thursday night at Constellation Field.

It was an all encompassing full team approach for Reno's offense with a mix of patience, power, and speed. Jorge Barrosa led off the third with a walk, stole his 13th bag of the season, and scored on Phillip Evans' 997th career Minor League hit. Lewis homered for the second straight game to knock in two runs later in the frame. The uber talented outfielder remains an impossible out for PCL pitchers and has homered 16 times in just 49 games for Reno, including four in 10 games this month.

The Aces broke the contest open with a tremendous sixth inning. Pavin Smith led off the roaring frame with a double before Ali Sánchez drove him home. Diego Castillo kept the line moving with a single in front of Blaze Alexander, who drove in two with a sharp two bagger to grow the lead to five. Sergio Alcántara smacked one of his two hits to score Alexander, helping the BLC Nine pull away for the night. All nine Aces starters reached base at least once and continuously delivered with runners in scoring position.

Blake Walston and the bullpen held the Space Cowboys to just two runs on five hits. Considering the tough news pregame, it was an especially noteworthy performance for the Aces. Dominic Fletcher, one of the best players in the PCL and the team's dynamic leadoff weapon, went on the injured list prior to first pitch. Outfielder Nick Dalesandro, who joined the Aces from Double-A Amarillo in a corresponding move, cracked his first career Triple-A hit in the ninth.

The Aces and Space Cowboys continue their six-game set Friday night at 5:05 p.m. PT from Constellation Field.
