Aces to Appear at Great Clips Monday, Wednesday

The Alaska Aces will be at several Great Clips locations in South Anchorage this week, leading up to their2012-2013 home opener on Friday night. Aces players will be on hand to greet fans and sign autographs from 3:30-4:30pm on Monday at the South Anchorage Retail Plaza at 8840 Old Seward next to WalMart. They will then appear on Wednesday from 3:30-4:30pm at the Dimond & Victor, and Abbott Rd. locations. At each event fans in attendance will have the opportunity to win various prizes including tickets to the Aces home opener, a signed jersey, and free Great Clips haircuts for a year. The Aces are proud to partner with Great Clips this season as the Official Hair Salon of the Aces. Great Clips has been a longstanding supporter of Aces hockey, and is currently running their Great Haircut Sale where anyone can get a haircut for $7.99. At Monday's event at the South Anchorage Retail Plaza, Kodi the new Aces mascot will be there along with Aces players and staff members. Fans are encouraged to attend to meet the Aces players and for a chance to win free prizes. All fans are welcome, and do not need to receive a haircut to be eligible for prizes. The Aces also announced that Great Clips will be the exclusive home of the Aces Jr. Announcer program this season. During select home games, one child 12 or under, will be chosen as the Aces Jr. Announcer, and have the chance to announce for the Aces over the Sullivan Arena public address system. The only way to register for a chance to be the Jr. Announcer is at any Anchorage or Wasilla Great Clips location.
Come join the Aces today from 3:30-4:30pm at the Great Clips location in the South Anchorage Retail Plaza, and then again at two Southside locations on Wednesday. Prizes at all three events include free Aces tickets, signed pucks, signed jerseys, or free Great Clips haircuts for a year! The Aces return home to Sullivan Arena on Friday, October 19 and Saturday, October 20 to host the Utah Grizzlies in their first home games of the 2012-2013 season.
