Reno Aces News Release
RENO, Nev.- Armed with an 11.5-game division lead and nearing the regular season finish line, Reno Aces playoff tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 8, the organization announced today.
If the postseason began today, Reno would face-off with the Sacramento River Cats in the first round-a potential matchup that would continue one of the Pacific Coast League's most intense rivalries. If Reno were to make the playoffs, Aces Ballpark would play host to Game 1 and Game 2 of the first round on Sept. 7 and Sept. 8. If the Aces were to advance, they would be the home team for Game 3, Game 4 (if necessary) and Game 5 (if necessary) of the League Championship Series from Sept. 16-18.
Ticket prices for all playoff games at Aces Ballpark will mirror the club's regular season prices. All Aces full and partial season ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase a full-strip of playoff tickets before they go on sale to the general public. The general public may buy full-strips of playoff tickets on Monday, Aug. 8 at the Reno Aces Box Office or by calling (775) 334-7000.
Single-game tickets to the first round will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20. Tickets purchased for games that are not played will be refunded.
Tickets may be purchased at the Aces Ballpark Box Office, online at www.RenoAces.com or by phone at (775) 334-7000.
In their brief history, the Aces have yet to appear in the Pacific Coast League postseason. This season, Reno has held at least a share of first place every day since April 25 and currently boasts the best record in the league. The Aces' 11.5-game lead in the Pacific North Division is the largest divisional advantage among all PCL clubs.
The Aces take-on the Las Vegas 51s tonight at Aces Ballpark in the renewal of the Silver State Diamond Challenge. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. PT, and tickets are on-sale now.
