RENO, Nev.-Chris Owings extended his Pacific Coast League-best hitting streak to 21 games, but Reno fell 13-5 to the Tucson Padres on Sunday afternoon at Aces Ballpark.

Owings singled up the middle in the fifth to plate Tony Campana for Reno's second run of the game. The 21-year-old has gone 31x92 (.337) since his streak began on May 11.

The Padres banged up Reno's Bryan Henry, who got the start after Randall Delgado was recalled by Arizona yesterday. Henry gave up seven runs-all earned-on six hits through 1.1 innings. Tucson struck again for three runs each off relievers Garrett Mock and Eury De La Rosa.

Each of Reno's five runs came in a different inning, including Campana making it home on a wild pitch in the ninth.

Henry was charged with his first loss of the season for Reno. Reliever Bryan Woodall shutout Tucson in the seventh and eighth innings, allowing just three hits and striking out two.

Burch Smith earned his second win of the season for Tucson, giving up just two earned runs on five hits, through 5.0 innings, while striking out four.

The series continues Monday night at Aces Ballpark. RHP Zeke Spruill (1-2, 6.06 ERA) gets the nod for Reno, while Tucson will counter with RHP Sean O'Sullivan (3-3, 3.90 ERA) First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. for another Margarita Monday presented by Alice @ 96.5, with half-price margaritas.
