905 Swat Swarm in Greensboro, Win Third in a Row

Raptors 905 (4-1), the NBA G League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors, defeated the Greensboro Swarm (2-3) 123-116 Tuesday morning. The 905 were led by Ron Harper Jr. who put up a career-high 29 points, seven rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two blocks. Jalen Crutcher led the Swarm putting up a team-high 27 points, five assists, and three steals in the loss.

The two teams exchanged baskets in the opening 12 minutes with the 905 outscoring the Swarm 31-24 going into the second frame.The 905 found their rhythm early in the second as they outscored the Swarm 45-29, expanding their lead to 23 points to end the first half. The 905 saw four players in double digits in the half, including 19 from Harper Jr.

Greensboro came out of the break strong, opening the quarter on a 13-2 run. The Swarm continued to build off their momentum putting up 26 points in the quarter while holding the visitors to just 15.

Down 12 in the final frame, the Swarm mounted their comeback bid, bringing the game within six. However, the 905's lead proved to be insurmountable as they came away with the win in Greensboro.

The 905 received complementary scoring from Gabe Brown who put up a career-high 23 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Kobi Simmons added 25 points, five rebounds, seven assists, and a block to the stat sheet for the Swarm.

The 905 continue their road trip in an eastern conference championship rematch against the Blue Coats, while the Swarm open a double-header against Long Island, both games scheduled Friday for a 7:00 pm tip.
