Aleem Ford Returns to Lakeland Magic

The Lakeland Magic has announced that Aleem Ford will return to the Magic after participating in the November 2022 Puerto Rico Men's World Cup Qualifying Team training camp and games.

Puerto Rico defeated Colombia on November 11 with a final score of 91-79. In the team's second contest they defeated Uruguay 76-68, Ford was a strong contributor scoring 12 points and grabbing 4 rebounds. Ford will return with the team on November 15 in Birmingham. In 2 games this season for the Lakeland Magic, Ford averaged 11 points and 2.5 rebounds in 23 minutes per game.

General Manager Kevin Tiller II announced today that the Lakeland Magic have waived guard Greg Malinowski, Lakeland's roster stands at 12 players.

Malinowski (6'6", 200, 08/21/95) appeared in one game this season with the Lakeland Magic in a victory over the Austin Spurs.

The Lakeland Magic will begin a four-game road trip starting against the Birmingham Squadron on Tuesday, November 15 at 8 PM. The game is available to view on ESPN+.
