March 2, 2018 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Ottawa 67's News Release
OTTAWA, ON - The Ottawa 67's kicked off their two-game road trip with another crucial win, this time a 4-2 decision over the North Bay Battalion on Thursday.
Sasha Chmelevski led the way for the Barber Poles, scoring twice in the second period to give Ottawa the lead. The win allows Ottawa to leapfrog the Battalion and into sixth spot in the Eastern Conference.
While the 67's would concede the next two goals, Jacob Cascagnette would score the eventual game winner with a little over a minute left in the second.
Captain Travis Barron added some insurance in the third with an empty net goal to secure the two points.
Olivier Tremblay continued his strong play in goal for Ottawa, turning away 34 North Bay shots to pick up the win.
The 67's continue the road trip in Hamilton on Friday night against the Bulldogs before returning home to host London on Sunday at the Arena at TD Place. (2 p.m.).
