Ottawa 67's News Release

OTTAWA, ON - Another impressive goaltending display for the Ottawa 67's wasn't quite enough against the East-leading Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday night, as the Barber Poles fell 3-1 on the road.

Cedrik Andree made 39 saves for Ottawa, including 18 in the first period, but an offensive outburst for Hamilton in the second period proved the difference.

After Andree stood on his head in a busy first period, the 67's fell behind after a three-goal effort by the Bulldogs in the second. 67's captain Travis Barron scored his 16th of the year with five minutes to go in the middle frame to pull Ottawa within two.

The Rangers got goals from MacKenzie Entwistle, Justin Lemcke and Matthew Strome. Goalie Nick Donofrio made 16 saves for the win.

Despite the loss, the 67's remain in seventh place just one point behind North Bay in sixth spot in the Eastern Conference.

The 67's close out the weekend's slate of games when they return home to host London on Sunday at the Arena at TD Place. (2 p.m.).
