At the end of 20 minutes the 67's continued their dominating play, out-shooting the Frontenacs 19-5.
The 2nd period saw the Frontenacs push back and score shorthanded with a goal by Cody Caron early in the period. In the last minute of play, the Frontenacs got on the board with a power play goal by Stephen Desrocher to tie the game 2-2 through 40 minutes of play.
