67's Add Veteran Presence with Acquisition of Forward Daylon Groulx

OTTAWA - The Ottawa 67's completed a trade with the Owen Sound Attack on Thursday, acquiring 19 year old forward Daylon Groulx. In exchange, the 67's send three draft picks to the Attack; a third round pick in 2020, a fourth round pick in 2020 and a sixth round pick in 2023.

A 2000-born right handed forward who can both play at centre and wing, Groulx has played 169 games in his OHL carrer, all with Owen Sound, totaling 42 goals and 33 assists for 75 points, on top of 236 penalty minutes. This season with the Attack, Groulx has put up 9 goals and 8 assists for 17 points in 36 games.

"Daylon is an experienced player who brings additional skill, depth and toughness to our line-up," said 67's General Manager James Boyd.

Groulx will join his new teammates over the course of the week-end, as the Barber Poles will be playing three game in three days. The second edition of the 67's Dunder Mifflin Night will take place on Friday evening inside The Arena at TD Place, before the team heads to Peterborough on Saturday, to then come back home on Sunday in order to face Groulx's old team, the Owen Sound Attack, on Sunday afternoon.
