67's Bid Farewell to Quinn Yule in Deal with Flint Firebirds

OTTAWA - After acquiring forward Daylon Groulx from the Owen Sound Attack earlier Thursday, the Ottawa 67's proceeded to another deal the same day, sending veteran Quinn Yule to the Flint Firebirds, in exchange for an 8th round pick in 2021.

Yule was drafted by the Barber Poles in 2016 as a 5th round pick (84th overall) and appeared in four season with Ottawa, playing a total of 149 games and putting up 32 points (14 goals, 18 assists) and was a dependable veteran for the 67's this season.

"Quinn has been a valued member of our team here in Ottawa. We wish him the very best with his new opportunity in Flint," said 67's General Manager James Boyd.

The OHL trade deadline will be Friday, January 10th at noon. The Barber Poles will be in action as soon as 7:00 PM the same day, when they host the Guelph Storm inside The Arena at TD Place for the second edition of the 67's Dunder Mifflin Night.
