
2nd Annual Military Appreciation Night March 20

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL Los Angeles Kings, are hosting the 2nd Annual "Military Appreciation Night" sponsored by University of La Verne on Saturday, March 20th at 7:00 p.m. The Ontario Reign players will be wearing special military themed jerseys when they take on the Idaho Steelheads. Immediately following the game, the jerseys will be auctioned off in a live auction to benefit the University of La Verne Scholarship program. "This marks our second year partnering with the University of La Verne, and we enjoy the working relationship we've established," said Drew Boursaw, Corporate Account Manager with the Reign. "This is a big night to showcase the university and its educational mission. We look forward to our continuing relationship with the University of La Verne."
The night's National Anthem will be sung by 16-year old actress/singer/songwriter, Taylor Parks. She has been seen on the big screen as Lil Inez in the New Line Cinema's Hairspray and can now be seen on Nickelodeon's hit show True Jackson V.P. where she plays True's childhood friend, Shelley. Also, Cameron "The Crazy Fan" will be at the arena pumping up the crowd and tossing t-shirts to the fans in attendance. He was recently filmed for a new pilot show called "Arenaman" and just returned from the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada. He was hired to pump up the crowd during thirty Olympic hockey games. The UCR Bagpipe Band will be performing outside the main entrance of Citizens Business Bank Arena pre-game and a special performance will be during the first intermission at center ice. A special advanced ticket price is available for all military personnel with a valid ID, $6 upper level, $12 lower level tickets (based upon availability). This military ticket offer is NOT available at the Citizens Business Bank Arena box office, it is only available by advance purchase by calling our office.
