
2018 Training Camp: Day 2 Results

Day 2 of Saskatoon Blades training camp came to a close Sunday evening leaving those in attendance with plenty to talk about.
Throughout the day each of the four teams competing in the two-day camp tournament play two games. The results from today will determine the semi-finals for Monday, before moving onto the Kirkness Cup Final and third place game.
2017 1st round draft pick, Kyle Crnkovic, was a scoring machine. The speedy 16-year-old lead the day with 6 goals and 1 assist for 7 points. Veteran Josh Paterson wasn't far behind with 4 goals and an assist, and newcomer Kristian Roykas Marthinsen scored a goal and 3 assists in his first day on the ice in Saskatoon.
The tournament will resume again on Monday with Team Clark (1-1) taking on Team Gulutzan (0-2) at 9:00am. The second game goes at 10:45am with Team Holtby (2-0) versus Team McLellan (1-1). The 3rd place game is scheduled for 2:00pm and the Kirkness Cup Final will go at 4:15pm. Admission is free and the Frozen Pond will be open from 9:00am-5:00pm.
