2009 Storm Playoff Tickets on Sale Tomorrow

SEATTLE, Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009 - Single-game tickets for the Seattle Storm's first home playoff game of the Western Conference Semifinals at KeyArena are available to purchase tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, starting at 10 a.m. Tickets start at just $16 and can be purchased online at stormbasketball.com or by calling 1-877-WNBA-TIX.
The Conference Semifinals will be played in a best-of-three format with Game 1 hosted by the lower-seeded team and Game 2 and Game 3 (if necessary) hosted by the higher-seeded team. The Storm, which has clinched home-court advantage in the Western Conference Semifinals, will host Game 2 and Game 3 (if necessary). Game 2 will be played at KeyArena on Sept. 18 or 19; opponent is still to be determined.
The Storm embarks on its sixth-straight playoff campaign with a 9-12 all-time record, including a 6-2 mark during the 2004 season when Seattle captured the WNBA Championship. Three members of that team remain in a Storm uniform (Sue Bird, Janell Burse and Lauren Jackson), and 10 of the 11 players on the current Storm roster have postseason experience. Additionally, the 2009 Storm roster boasts four WNBA champions with five WNBA championships between them (Bird `04, Burse, '04, Cash `03 and `06 and Jackson `04).
