
Three Playoff Rallies Scheduled for Monday Evening

INDIANAPOLIS - In anticipation of a historic playoff season after clinching a No. 1 seed in the WNBA Playoffs for the first time, the Indiana Fever will conduct playoff rallies in three different Indianapolis locations on the evening of Monday, Sept. 14, with the help of Kroger, The Children's Museum of Indianapolis and IMAX Theater.
Each location will feature cheer cards, fan interactives, ticket and prize giveaways and autograph signing by Freddy Fever and/or Fever players! Times and locations for the three rallies are as follows:
(1) Kroger located at Binford Boulevard and 71st Street (5810 E. 71st Street), 5:00-7:00 p.m.
(Present: Freddy Fever, Fan Van, Katie Douglas, Tammy Sutton-Brown and Tamecka Dixon)
(2) The Children's Museum of Indianapolis (3000 N. Meridian Street), 5:30-6:30 p.m.
(Present: Ebony Hoffman, Jessica Davenport, Christina Wirth and assistant coach Jim Lewis)
(3) IMAX Theater (650 W. Washington Street), 6:30 p.m. followed by Harry Potter movie at 7 p.m. Fans with Fever gear or a Fever ticket stub receive $1 off admission to the movie.

Indiana will open its best-of-three game Eastern Conference Semifinal series on Sept. 16 or 17, on the road. The Fever will host Game 2 of the series at Conseco Fieldhouse, Sept. 18 or 19, and if necessary, Game 3, Sept. 20 or 21. Likewise, if Indiana advances past the first round, the Fever would host the deciding Games 2 and 3 of the best-of-three game Eastern Conference Finals. Eastern Conference Finals dates are Sept. 23, 25 and 26. WNBA Finals games begin Tuesday, Sept. 29, launching a best-of-five game series between playoff champions from the East and West.
Tickets for the Eastern Conference Semifinals are on sale now at FeverBasketball.com, the Conseco Fieldhouse Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets or by calling (800) 745-3000. Indiana's first home playoff game will be a Lucas Oil Family Night presented by The Indianapolis Star. With each ticket purchased, fans will receive a voucher redeemable for a free hot dog, chips, a soft drink and a T-shirt. A minimum purchase of four game tickets is required, beginning at $15 per seat.
Final pairings, dates and times will not be determined until the conclusion of the regular season, Sept. 13.
Advancing to the WNBA Playoffs for a fifth consecutive season while celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Indiana Fever hosts Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, Sept. 18 or Sept. 19. Led by five time WNBA All-Star and two-time Olympic gold medalist Tamika Catchings, Olympic silver medalist Tully Bevilaqua, 2008 WNBA Most Improved Player Ebony Hoffman and two-time WNBA All-Stars Katie Douglas and Tammy Sutton-Brown, the Fever bids for its first appearance in the WNBA Finals.
