Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - With just three weeks before the home opener, the Montreal Impact announced on Tuesday that 20,000 tickets have been sold for the first game at Olympic Stadium on Saturday, March 22, at 4pm ET.
"We earned points in 75% of our games played at home over our first two seasons in MLS, so we know how important a factor our supporters are to our success. We are off to a good start, but support from our 12th player can be even greater," said Impact Executive Vice-President Richard Legendre. "The season begins this Saturday in Dallas and we are very excited to start the 2014 campaign, but the real kick off point for our public is on March 22."
