Roughriders Sign 2025 Global Draft Selection Jesse Mirco

September 17, 2025 - The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed Global punter Jesse Mirco. Mirco (6'4-222) was selected by the Roughriders in the second round, 15th overall, in the 2025 CFL Global Draft. He played his senior collegiate season at Vanderbilt (2024), appearing in 13 games. The Australian punter booted the ball 51 times for 2,430 yards (2,330 net), averaging 48.0 yards per punt-ranking first in the SEC. September 16, 2025 - The Calgary Stampeders return to action after a bye week to play host to the BC Lions in Week 16 Canadian Football League action at McMahon Stadium. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. MDT. Elks Bring in Two Defenders

September 16, 2025 - EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks have added American linebacker Xander Mueller and American defensive lineman Gavin Meyer. In addition, American defensive lineman Eli Mostaert has been released, the club announced Tuesday. Mueller (6-3, 235) joins Edmonton after spending the past four seasons with Northwestern University.
