LAST GAME RECAP: Binghamton squandered a pair of leads on Saturday, falling to New Hampshire 9-7. Max Pentecost's eighth-inning three-run home run proved to be the game-winner after the Ponies failed to score in the ninth inning. Binghamton led by three runs following a five-run third inning, their second straight game with a five-run frame.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Harol Gonzalez goes for his first Double-A win in his eighth Eastern League start. The 23-year-old has lost each of his Binghamton starts, most recently on August 21 against Altoona. Gonzalez tossed a Double-A best seven innings, but allowed four earned runs on eight hits in the defeat.

ELIMINATION DAY: Binghamton was officially eliminated from the playoffs on Saturday. It's just the second time in the last six years that Binghamton has failed to make the postseason. Hartford, Richmond, and Bowie were also ousted from contention on Saturday.

POWER OUTAGE: The Rumble Ponies failed to hit a home run for the first time in 10 games Saturday. Binghamton's longest long ball stretch happened in May when they did so in 12 straight games.

RYDER'S ON THE STORM: RHP Ryder Ryan struck out six batters in his two innings on Saturday, the most by a Binghamton reliever since Drew Smith whiffed seven against Portland on Aug. 19, 2017.

FOR THE LONGEST TIME: Binghamton has played in back-to-back three-hour games for the first time since July 13 & 14 when they played 3:40 and 3:20 at Akron.

WINLESS WEEK: A Rumble Ponies starting pitcher has not earned a win over the last seven games. Justin Dunn was the last Binghamton starter to earn a win, doing so on August 18 against Reading.

FIGHTIN' FISHERS: New Hampshire defeated Binghamton on Saturday for the first time since shutting out the Rumble Ponies in game two of a twin bill on June 2. The Rumble Ponies had rattled off three straight wins against the Double-A Blue Jays.

A LOOK AHEAD: After Binghamton plays four games at Hartford to finish their road slate, they welcome in the Portland Sea Dogs for the final four games of the 2018 regular season.

SO LONG, FAREWELL: Binghamton and New Hampshire meet for the 21st and final time on Sunday afternoon. The Rumble Ponies own an 11 games to nine lead on the Eastern Division leaders.

UP NEXT: The Rumble Ponies and continue their final and longest road trip of the season with a four-game series against Hartford. The series-opener on Monday night is slated to start at 7:05 PM.
