MOOSIC, Pa. - Strong pitching and timely hitting combined to lead the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders to a 7-1 victory over the Buffalo Bisons Tuesday night at PNC Field. The victory ended a four-game losing streak for the RailRiders.
The RailRiders broke out the bats in the bottom of the third, plating three runs on four hits against Ryan Borucki. With the bases loaded, Tyler Wade singled to drive in Billy Fleming with the first run of the game. An RBI single from Thairo Estrada brought home another tally and Brandon Drury grounded into a double play scoring the final run of the stanza.
