NYSPHSAA Baseball State Tournament Extends Stay in Binghamton

BINGHAMTON, NY - Prior to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies game on Friday night, Binghamton Mayor Rich David, Senator Fred Akshar and Section IV Executive Director Ben Nelson announced the NYSPHSAA baseball state championships will be held in the Binghamton area through the 2021 season.

First hosted in Binghamton in 2003, the NYSPHSAA baseball state tournament welcomes the top four teams in all five classes (AA, A, B, C & D) to decide a champion. The 16th edition of the state tournament in Binghamton starts this year on June 8. The semifinals will be held at NYSEG Stadium, Binghamton University, Union-Endicott High School, Maine-Endwell High School and Conlon Field at MacArthur Elementary School. NYSEG Stadium and Binghamton University will be home to the championship games.
