
Mavericks Set 2015 Training Camp Schedule

INDEPENDENCE, MO (Sept. 28, 2015) - The Missouri Mavericks released the details of their 2015 Training Camp schedule on Monday afternoon, inviting fans to attend all on-ice camp practices Friday, Oct. 2 through Wednesday, Oct. 7. The Mavericks 2015 Training Camp is presented by IHOP.
The Mavericks will begin their 2015 Training Camp with a limited roster, as multiple players who have signed standard player contracts with Missouri will be attending the camp of the Mavs' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
The Sound Tigers released their Training Camp roster Sunday afternoon ahead of the start of their camp. Mavericks players on AHL Professional Tryouts include: Scott Allen, Pat Cullity, Tanner Fritz, Andrew Johnston, Connor Jones, Kellen Jones, Dax Lauwers, Jason Missiaen, Danick Paquette, and John Schiavo.
The Mavericks official 2015 Training Camp Roster will be released later this week.
2015 Missouri Mavericks Training Camp Schedule:
- Friday, Oct. 2nd - 10:00p.m. to 11:00a.m. (optional skate) - Centerpoint Medical Center Community Ice
- Saturday, Oct. 3rd - 3:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. - Kansas City Ice Center (KCIC)
- Sunday, Oct. 4th - 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. - Centerpoint Medical Center Community Ice
- Monday, Oct. 5th - 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. - Centerpoint Medical Center Community Ice
- Tuesday, Oct. 6th - 10:30a.m. to 12:30p.m. - Centerpoint Medical Center Community Ice Center
- Wednesday, Oct. 7th - 10:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. - Centerpoint Medical Center Community Ice Center
The Mavericks will practice at Centerpoint Medical Center Community Ice (19100 East Valley View Parkway, Independence, MO 64055) for all camp dates, with exception to practice on Saturday, Oct. 3rd when camp will take place at the Kansas City Ice Center (19900 Johnson Drive, Shawnee Mission, KS 66218).
Mavs staff will be on-site at KCIC during practice on Oct. 3rd with ticket information, schedules, and select team merchandise for sale.
All on-ice practices are open to the public and admission is free.
Additional information about the Mavericks Season Kick-Off Party at Red Robin on Wednesday, Oct. 7 and the Mavericks Black-Orange Intra-Squad Scrimmage at Independence Events Center on Thursday, Oct. 8 will be provided later this week.
The Mavericks will play longtime rival, the Wichita Thunder, in their home-opener on Saturday, Oct. 24 at Independence Events Center.
