IceHogs set up fan bus for opener in Quad City

Rockford, Ill.- For the first time in Rockford IceHogs history, the club will begin the season on the road. To make sure fans won't miss the club's first ever American Hockey League game, the IceHogs have set up a bus trip for its fans wishing to catch Rockford's 2007-08 opener against the Quad City Flames at the I-Wireless Center in Moline, Ill.

The IceHogs open its ninth campaign of professional hockey on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 7:05 p.m. The bus will depart from the Rockford MetroCentre in downtown Rockford on Saturday, from the Elm St. side of the MetroCentre, at 4 p.m. Tickets for the bus trip are $35 per person and the price includes round trip transportation to and from Quad City and a lower level ticket at the I-Wireless Center.

For tickets, contact Amanda Smallwood at the IceHogs office by calling (815) 986-6465. Space is limited and in order to reserve a seat, payment must be received at time of call. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the bus.
