LANSING, Mich. - The scheduled Friday night doubleheader between the host Lansing Lugnuts (25-20, 72-42) and the Dayton Dragons (19-26, 49-66) has been canceled due to rain at Cooley Law School Stadium.

The games will not be made up.

All fans possessing tickets to Thursday or Friday night's games are encouraged to exchange those tickets in person at the box office for tickets of equal or lesser value to a future Lugnuts game this season.

Lansing finishes the season series with an 11-4 record against Dayton, though the Lugs dropped four of the final five meetings.

The Lugnuts next embark upon a three-game road trip to Dow Diamond in Midland, Michigan, sending left-hander Justin Nicolino (7-4, 2.63) to the mound against Great Lakes Loons right-hander Arismendy Ozoria (8-6, 4.53) in the 7:05 p.m. Saturday opener.

Lansing returns home on Wednesday, August 15th at 7:05 p.m., opening a three-game set against the Fort Wayne TinCaps. The series opener is a Ladies Night, featuring food and drink specials as well as salon services from City Salon. Tickets are available for purchase online at www.lansinglugnuts.com, at the stadium box office, and by calling 517-485-4500.
