In nine playoff games, Ikonen had eight goals and six assists for 14 points with a +5 rating.

Ikonen had two goals and was +3 with four penalty minutes in seven games at the U18 WJC for fourth-place Finland.

"Again, we feel that we have added another piece to our puzzle going forward this year," said GM Doug Gilmour.
