Petes Trade Matt Puempel to Kitchener

The Peterborough Petes announced today that General Manager David Reid has completed a trade with the Kitchener Rangers that sends forward Matt Puempel to the Kitchener Rangers in exchange for forward Zach Lorentz and a pair of 2nd round draft picks in the 2014 and 2016 OHL Priority Selections.

Lorentz, a 5'11" left winger from Waterloo Ontario recorded 19 goals and 33 points last season with the Rangers.

"The Peterborough Petes are pleased to add Zach Lorentz to our lineup" says Petes General Manager David Reid. "The two 2nd round draft picks will give us some depth in future drafts, or allow us to use those picks to acquire another player down the road."
