Cougars Go Back to the '60's for Tomorrow's Game

GENEVA, IL - The Kane County Cougars kick off the extended Memorial Day holiday weekend with tomorrow evening's '60's Night. The 6:30 p.m. game on Friday will feature a pre-game concert by Scraps of Brass, various in-game '60's-themed promotions, and a '60's-themed fireworks show following the game. A tie-dye station will be set up inside the Fifth Third Bank Ballpark gates - fans are asked to bring their own white t-shirt. White Cougars t-shirts will be available for purchase inside the souvenir shop as well.

The Cougars are also leaving tickets at Will Call for the following individuals tomorrow evening: Mick Jagger, Muhammad Ali, Neil Armstrong, and Bob Dylan. There have been no confirmations at this point if any of the above individuals will be attending tomorrow night's '60's event and Cougars game, but the Cougars' front office staff are keeping their fingers crossed.

'60's Night is the first of four "Decades Nights" on the Cougars' promotional schedule this year. Remaining dates are '70's Night on June 28, '80's Night on July 12, and '90's Night on July 26.
