Kamloops, BC - The Calgary Hitmen swept their three game BC road trip with a 5-4 win over the Canadian Hockey League's #3 ranked Kamloops Blazers Saturday night at Interior Savings Centre.

Cody Sylvester scored twice and set up another while Jimmy Bubnick had a goal and two assists to lead the Hitmen scoring attack with three points each.

For Bubnick it was his 100th career regular season goal in the Western Hockey League. It came against his former team as Bubnick's first career goal came as a member of the Blazers back on October 26th, 2007.

Victor Rask and Kenton Helgesen also scored for Calgary who never trailed on the night building three two goal leads of 2-0, 4-2 and 5-3.

Greg Chase and Collin Bowman both chipped in a pair of assists.

Calgary, now 35-22-2-1, moves past both Saskatoon and Kootenay and into sole possession of fourth place in the WHL's Eastern Conference with 73 points.

The Hitmen will open a five game home stand Wednesday night against Anaheim Ducks prospect Emerson Etem and the Medicine Hat Tigers. Game time at Scotiabank Saddledome is 7:00 p.m.
