
Precision Toyota Tundra On The Move This Week

Brandon, Manitoba -- Members of the Western Hockey League's Brandon Wheat Kings will be climbing aboard the Precision Toyota Community Cruiser Tundra Tuesday afternoon and will be heading out for another Minor Hockey Caravan visit.
Veterans Paul Ciarelli and Eric Roy will be among the players that will be skating in Minnedosa Tuesday night as the Wheat Kings host their fourth Canadian Tire - Rogers Caravan of the 2011-12 WHL season.
In addition to skating with two minor hockey teams in Minnedosa, the Wheat Kings will be signing autographs, distributing Rogers Minor HOckey water bottles and delivering over 100 tickets, couresty of Canadian Tire and Rogers Communications.
Among the local coaches that will be assisting the Wheat King players Tuesday will be former Brandon captain Tim Konsorada, who now lives in Minnedosa.
A former draft choice of the National Hockey League's Columbus Blue Jackets, Konsorada played five full seasons in Brandon - from 1999 to 2005.
In 311 career games with the Wheat Kings (3rd most in franchise history), the Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta native scored 81 goals and 249 points.
Tuesday's Minor Hockey Caravan tour to Minnedosa kicks off a busy week for the 22-17-1-1 Wheat Kings.
In addition a School Patrol Luncheon scheduled for Alexander on Thursday and a CIBC Read to Succeed School visit to Kirkcaldy Heights School on Tuesday morning, Captain Mark Stone will be signing autographs at Murrays Chev Cadillac Ltd from 5-7 pm on Thursday night and netminder Corbin Boes will be attending Saturday's Booster Juice Grand Opening at their new store on 18th Street.
On the ice, the Wheat Kings will kick off a 3-game WHL home stand Wednesday night against the visiting Saskatoon Blades. Brandon will then host Red Deer on Friday night and the new Victoria Royals on Saturday.
Brandon hopes to have newly acquired center Kevin Sundher in the lineup on Wednesday, after obtaining the all star from the Victoria Royals on Monday.
